Kings County Residence

The Kings County Senior Residence is a 172 unit one-bedroom rental building with 2,000 square feet of community space, for low-income, well elderly persons, 62+ years of age. The project site is on the campus of Kings County Hospital, along Albany Avenue in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York. The project was financed with HUD mortgage insurance. It was completed in January, 2007. With amenities such as a community room, landscaped courtyard, and roof terrace, this building is well-suited to serve its senior population.

Kings County Senior Residence was named one of 3 finalists for 2008 Project of the year at the 9th Annual New York State Affordable Housing Conference.
